PROFILE

https://www.cmtevents.com/EVENTDATAS/20020809/speakers/UlrichEder.jpgDr. Ulrich Eder is a German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) and tax counsel (Steuerberater). As managing director of the Bangkok-based law firm PUGNATORIUS Ltd., he is regularly involved in foreign direct investments in renewable energy projects. Dr. Eder advises foreign companies in the biomass and waste-to-energy sector how to enter the Thai markets in compliance with a  complex regulatory framework.

Recent experiences include the feasibility study for waste-to-energy facilities, disputes on intellectual property, as well as the turnkey project for a bioethanol project. The law firm maintains close contacts to Thailand's Ministry of Energy, Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, EGAT, Thailand's Board of Investment, and other government agencies. Based on the law firm’s expertise in digital asset businesses, Dr. Eder encourages foreign investments to utilize blockchain-based technologies in Thailand's biomass and waste-to-energy industries.
