David has over twenty-five years of professional experience in strategic management and business development, sales and marketing, project execution, public affairs, and strategic communications. He was recently appointed to the role of Business Development Director, Asia for GE Vernova. In this role, David will drive our off-season positioning and new markets developments for the Gas Power business in Asia while leading the collection, interpretation and reporting of market research in Gas power plants from molecules to electron including the latest technology for decarbonization trends. David will also be responsible as the Sales Leader for in-development markets such as the Philippines, Cambodia & Myanmar.

Prior to re-joining GE Vernova, he was Honeywell’s Country President for Indonesia and Philippines, a position he took on in July 2023 where he was responsible for driving overall Honeywell strategies and actions with the goal of rapid revenue growth in both these dynamic countries. Before that, he was GE’s Country Director for the power business in Indonesia and has held various roles such as Market Development Director, Policy & Government Relations Director for ASEAN, Regional Sales Director for GE Transportation throughout his 16 years with GE.

David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs from the University of Indonesia as well as an MBA in International Business from George Washington University, Washington D.C. He is currently on the Board of Governor for AmCham, Indonesia as well Chair of KADIN’s (Indonesian Chamber of Commerce) Permanent Committee for Technology & Digital Transformation. He’s married with two young children.
