
Gao brings over 15 years of experience in carbon markets and project development. He joined Climate Bridge in 2007, beginning his carbon career in project documentation before leading the project origination department, where he successfully executed over 200 carbon transactions.
Appointed CEO in 2018, he spearheaded the joint venture with Shell from its inception in 2020 and which has now become fully owned by Climate Bridge. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded into a leading provider of carbon project development and neutrality solutions across global markets.
He holds an MBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and a Master’s from Tongji University.
