Mr. Rodolfo Bollat is currently the Head of Sustainability at INGRUP, a packaging solutions company with more than 50 years in the market that is part of Castillo Hermanos, an international business group founded more than 139 years ago. Proving that sustainability is a central focus of the business, the Group founded the first recycling facility in Central America, being at the forefront of circularity in the region by leading efforts to rethink, redesign and increase the collection and recycling of PET bottles and other packaging materials through economically viable solutions and impactful social and community programs.

He has more than 20 years of experience in different industries, leading teams and projects in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, and Central America. He is also a well-known leader in the business community, serving in the board of several trade and industry associations, where he collaborates with other peers to share his expertise in areas such as Energy, International Trade, Sustainability, and Multilateralism.

Rodolfo is a Chemical Engineer from University of Del Valle Guatemala, holds an MBA from The University of Notre Dame, a Masters in Renewable Energy from EOI Spain, and a Marketing Executive Scholar from Kellogg School of Business.

Rudy Flores is an Applications Development Manager – Specialty PET Polymers with Indorama Ventures . Rudy has worked in the PET field for over 25 years. His experience includes Polymer Development and Production activities in Batch, Continuous, and Solid-State Polymerization processes. 
 

Rudy has developed Specialty Polymer formulations for the Packaging, Thermoforming, Film, and Fiber markets. He participated in the development of the IVL EPET 5505 grade for EBM machines in 2008. Most recently, his activities have focused on Packaging Applications requiring IVL’s OxyClear® Active Oxygen Barrier system effective in extending product shelf-life to retard spoilage, working closely with customers in early program stages.

Luiza Adelita De Andrade has been working with packaging research and development for twelve years; she is currently leading the R&D packaging team for Hair and Body categories across the High Growth region (Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand) in Henkel Consumer Goods.

Prior to her current role, she has worked in Walmart México, Beiersdorf and Grupo Boticário in several roles related to packaging research and development, sourcing and sustainability strategy.

Luiza studied Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Paraná, in Brazil, and has moved to Mexico seven years ago.

Ms. Hernandez graduated from Universidad Anáhuac México Norte with a Degree in Law. With over 20 years of experience in administrative law, institutional relations, corporate communications, and lobbying for top-tier national and multinational companies, currently serves as Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs at ECOCE, a non-profit civil association that promotes recycling and environmental education to achieve sustainable development.

Adriana RUEDA brings 16 years of solid experience in innovation and new product development, always with a sustainability-oriented vision across key sectors such as fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics. Her professional journey has been shaped within leading global companies, including MSD, Pfizer, Bimbo, SC Johnson, Yves Rocher, and Coexpan. Furthermore, she has driven strategic collaborations with significant impact for iconic brands like Danone, Lactalis, Stonyfield, and Sigma throughout the region. For over four years at L'Oréal, Adriana has served as Head of Packaging in Mexico, where she has been instrumental in propelling a robust sustainability agenda and accelerating strategic projects with substantial regional impact. Currently, she is transitioning to assume the responsibility of leading innovation in LATAM, a role that will undoubtedly enhance her influence in the region to drive greener and more efficient solutions.

Recognized as an influential and respected voice in the industry, Adriana was recently appointed as part of the Steering Committee of the Mexican Packaging Association (AMEE) for the 2025-2027 period. This appointment consolidates her position as a key reference in fostering genuinely innovative and responsible packaging solutions, which are fundamental for the future of the sector.

Daniel has a degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), a Master of Science from the London School of Economics (UK) and a PhD in Economic Development from the Graduate Institute of Geneva (Switzerland).

He has more than 20 years of experience in topics related to macroeconomic, industrial, and regional analysis in Latin America. Currently, Daniel is the Chief Economist at Deloitte Spanish Latin America, as well as the Economic Advisory Leader.

María Fernanda Aparicio is a Consultant at S&P Global Chemicals Consulting in Mexico City, specializing in sustainability and the circular economy in LATAM. She has substantial experience in market intelligence and benchmarking within the industry. Previously, she was a Research Analyst at a major market intelligence firm, leading market analysis for PET/RPET and PO/RPO. María Fernanda has actively participated in various forums focused on the circular economy in plastics.

Griscelda Ramos holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Guadalajara. As Director of Sustainability at Natura México, she is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the sustainability strategy in Mexico, through awareness-raising, monitoring, and evaluation actions based on the triple bottom line. She is also responsible for establishing partnerships with organizations in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship and serves as a bridge between Brazil and Mexico to promote educational processes and initiatives, as well as post-consumer waste management projects. 
 

She is currently President of the Sustainability Committee at CANIPEC and coordinator of the social circle initiative GEMI. She also holds a Diploma in Gender Violence. 
 

In 2013, she joined Natura México as Training Manager, with the goal of developing and implementing the regional training strategy.
 

She has more than 25 years of experience in major and renowned companies. Furthermore, her training has allowed her to develop leadership skills.

Denisse Ortez is a Director within the Energy, Biomaterials, and Circularity division. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration. Her professional career began as an advisor on cleaner production processes in different sectors, pioneering the implementation of the Sugarcane Farming Initiative Production Standard (BSI at the time, now BONSUCRO) in El Salvador. With over a decade of experience as an auditor in the Bonsucro, ISCC, and RSPO programs, Denisse has gained expertise in sugarcane, oil palm, sustainable fuels, bio and circular materials, and agribusiness.

In addition to her technical expertise, Denisse is the global leader for teams that provide assessment and audit services according to the Bonsucro and Proterra benchmark standards, and regionally for the full range of ISCC options. Her experience in these disciplines has allowed her to acquire knowledge and skills in each, and she has also served as an international panelist and speaker, demonstrating her commitment and experience in sustainability and certifications in the region.

Paul Sosa is a Chemical Engineer from the National Autonomous University of Mexico with over 30 years of experience in the petrochemical and chemical industry. He currently serves as Senior Advisor for ExxonMobil’s Chemicals business in Latin America, where he supports strategic initiatives including advanced recycling and circularity. Previously, Paul was Chemicals Director for ExxonMobil in Mexico, leading market development and regulatory engagement. He is an active member of the board of directors of the National Chemical Industry Association, contributing to policies that promote innovation and sustainability. Throughout his career, Paul has played a key role in advancing industry practices that align with environmental and economic goals

Eric Appelman has joined Aduro on the 1st of September as its Chief Revenue Officer.

Eric, 60, is a Dutch national, was trained as a chemical engineer, and brings 35 years of experience in the chemical industry in a variety of disciplines and companies. After 3 years with Unilever working on processing edible oils, he switched to Unilever’s chemicals business (later acquired by ICI), working with renewable chemicals in technical-commercial and customer-facing roles for 12 years. Next he was technical director at Sigma Coatings, the second largest European paint company until its acquisition by PPG, for the Marine & Protective coatings business. Eric subsequently became Executive Vice President at Swedish chemical multinational Perstorp, accountable for innovation, market development and corporate strategy, for 8 years. After that he had non-executive roles at some startup companies and spent 6 years as CTO and Marketing & Sales Director at Brightlands Chemelot Campus, a unique and highly successful industrial environment in the Netherlands where more than 100 companies and more than 3000n professionals work on scaling the material and process technologies for the chemical industry of the future (with obviously a lot of focus on electrification, recycling and biogenic raw materials).

Eric met Aduro at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus and was immediately captivated by its unique technology, which offers decisive  advantages versus more traditional recycling technologies, by eliminating the need for costly posstreatment to remove unsaturation and heteroatoms, by accepting more contaminated, hence more affordable and available input streams, by a lower energy consumption, and by lower losses to char and fuel gas.

Dr. German Ruiz Mendez is the Director General for Sustainable Urban Environmental Development and Performance,
Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) of the Mexican government.

Germán Ruiz Méndez holds a Ph.D. in Political and Social Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), a Master’s degree in Government and Public Affairs, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration. He has built a solid career in public policy design, particularly at the municipal and federal levels, having worked with institutions such as the National Institute for Federalism and Municipal Development (INAFED), the Secretary of Government, the Secretary of Health, the Secretary of Public Education, and SEMARNAT.

He was awarded 3rd Place in the INAP 2017 Prize for his doctoral research on local development models, and he has served as a lecturer and speaker both in Mexico and abroad. In addition, he actively participates in academic networks such as IGLOM, INAP, SOMECE, and REMINEO.

His current work focuses on the implementation of the National Waste Policy and the Circular Economy, leading the Directorate-General for Sustainable Urban Environmental Development and Performance at SEMARNAT. Under his leadership, key programs for integrated waste management have been promoted, positioning him as a leading voice in Mexico’s transition toward more sustainable systems.

Mr. Herrera has an extensive experience in new product development, production management, and project execution. He also has successfully led initiatives that brought innovative packaging solutions to market. Throughout his career in the packaging industry, and now at Amcor, he has combined technical expertise and leadership to strengthen the company’s ability to deliver high-value product innovations.

He holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the Rey Juan Carlos University. He is a graduate of the Pan-American Institute of Senior Business Management with a Master's in Business Administration.

He has management experience in multinational technology companies such as Google and Movistar. He is an independent director of various companies, helping them strengthen and consolidate their market leadership position. He also works as a speaker and expert consultant on digital innovation, strategy, marketing, and digitalization.

Juliana Lugo brings over 10 years of experience working with FMCG's in the development of inclusive and sustainable value chains. She currently serves as Director of Sustainable Business Development at HyperESG, where she leads the design and operation of recycling collection chains based on market-driven operational and financial logic, driving competitive recycling across Latin America. Her approach combines technical expertise with a strategic understanding of social, economic, and regulatory contexts to structure solutions that connect sustainability with business outcomes.
