Planet Savers is a University of Tokyo spin-out developing zeolite-based direct air capture (DAC) that runs on electricity alone, built on the university’s world-class zeolite synthesis technology. Founded in 2023 with the mission to stop climate change and preserve the beautiful planet for future generations, we built a container-sized DAC system that captures CO₂ where it is needed. We are demonstrating CCU in agriculture at a tomato greenhouse, and exploring CO₂ use in concrete next year. For carbon dioxide removal, we aim to connect DAC with CCS and have signed an MoU to explore deployment alongside permanent storage in South Australia.
