.Based in Yangon, Julia's focus is to promote responsible business practices in the garment sector, ensure the sustainable development of the industry and the country, and to secure H&M's supply chain growth. Julia started her career at H&M in China where she worked in sustainability to raise awareness and promote collaboration, mostly on environmental issues. Prior to H&M, Julia worked for a number of non-governmental organizations in China, Vietnam and the United States, including the Fair Labor Organization and the International Crisis Group, with a focus on communications and fundraising.

Seiro Tokunaga
.Since 1983, Seiro Tokunaga is a graduate from Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry Department in University of Kyushu, Japan. He joined Oji Holdings Corporation in 1984, . He worked in Papua New Guinea, Laos, Australia as Afforestation expert under the Oji Holdings Corporation. In 2010, he became the General Manager of Afforestation Department in the Head Office. In 2013, he was promoted as the Chief-Representative/Director of Oji Asia Packaging (Myanmar Branch) and Managing Director position in Oji Myanmar Packaging Co. Ltd (OMPC) as well.

Mr. Aye Thiha

.Aye Thiha has over 8 years on Investment Banking experience advising multi-national corporations and financial investors on their various M&A transactions globally; worked at UBS, TD Securities and TAP Advisors.


His recent completed transactions include Goldman Sachs Infrastructure fund on the sale of their land lease portfolio to Global Tower Partners, H.I.G. Capital in their sale of Secures Technologies and the sale of Wireless Capital Partners to Crown Castle. Other notable transactions include Verizon Wireless $28 billion acquisition of Alltel, Google's investment in Clearwire (4G wireless operator) and Tower Co's (Soros-owned) acquisition of Sprint Nextel's tower portfolio.


He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics, Boston Colleage (summa cum laude); Masters degree in Finance, London School of Economics, New York University. Currently, he is also the Chairman for American Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee.

Wai Phyo

.Wai Phyo is the Managing Director of Yathar Cho Industry Ltd., which is one of the largest food manufacturing companies in the country. His group also includes other food manufacturing businesses as well as one of the largest distribution companies with a nationwide reach.

Wai Phyo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University of Washington D.C.
He is also an active member of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and is currently one of the Vice Presidents and is the youngest one to be elected to the post. Other positions include President of the Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association, Vice President of the Myanmar Industries Association and Myanmar Food Processors and Exporters Association and member of ASEAN Business Advisory Council, East Asia Business Council and Young Presidents' Organization.

Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet is currently the Advisor of UMFCCI, Member of Peace Commission, Executive Board Member of UNESCO-India Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development, Honorary Professor of University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada and Visiting Professor of Yangon University.

 U Myint Zaw is the Sales and Marketing Director of Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holdings Public Limited. U Myint Zaw has joined Myanma Agriculture and General Development as a Director since the company was founded in 2012.

He has 20 years experiences in managing import and export business. He is also a Director of Lim Family Co., Ltd. and a Managing Director in Aung Si Linn International (Trading House) and Mahar Shwe Yadanar Myay Co. Ltd. which deal with importing of Palm Oils and Wholesales Distributors.

He has several other experiences in other business sectors including car batteries manufacturing, lead smelting, plastics injection and real estate.

 Zaw was born in Myanmar and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from Yangon Institute of Technology. Zaw also hold Master of Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and MBA from University of Newcastle Australia. Zaw had lived and worked in Australia, Singapore and Thailand with various multinational companies, mostly high-tech R&D and Manufacturing companies for the past 20 years. Dr. Marlar Myo Nyunt

 Marlar Myo Nyunt (Dr.) is a Director of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration under the Ministry of Planning and Finance.

She served as lecturer in Yangon Institute Economics from 1994 to 2012. In 2012, she was transferred from Ministry of Education to Ministry of Planning and Finance.

She received Bachelor of Economics from Yangon Institute Economics in 1991. She got Master of Economics from Yangon Institute Economics in 1998. She pursued Master of Arts in International Development from International University of Japan in 2004. She received Ph.D (Economics) from Yangon Institute Economics in 2013. Currently, she serves as Director in Investment Promotion Division at Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, and she has been participating many international seminars and meetings related to investment, and ASEAN affairs.

Mr. Tan Eng Kiat

 Eng Kiat has been practicing as an urban designer with Surbana Jurong for the past 8 years. Currently serving as Principal Planner and Manager overseeing the Southeast Asia Region, he has over 50 projects under his belt, spanning from Nigeria, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, to China and South-East Asia. During this time he has won a number of awards in Malaysia and Qatar.

He is also currently serving as a World City Summit Young Leader, a parallel programme to the WCS Mayors' Summit. He graduated from National University of Singapore's architectural programme. His projects lead in several joint-national initiatives such as the Singapore-Sichuan Innovation City, the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City urban design proposal and the Iskandar Development Region in Malaysia. Eng Kiat has clocked a global experience over the past decade as an urban designer and planner.

Mr. Andrew Lee

With over 20 years of experience in management consultancy, sales, marketing and operations, he has an exceptional background in developing new markets and implementing strategic business plans including new product innovation through effective risk management, new business development, profit & loss projection and cost cutting initiatives.

Andrew has worked in various multinational companies such as Panasonic Company, ShangriLa Hotels & Resorts, B2BGalaxy.com, Dun & Bradstreet and JP Morgan Chase. He co-founded the telephony software company AGM Telecom based in Keller, Texas. Under his leadership, revenues at AGM Telecom grew by US$7.5 million in less than 36 months. Prior to joining GE, Andrew was the Principal Consultant for Lee Consulting LLC in Bear, Delaware.

In addition to advanced training in the banking and investment sectors, Andrew holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marketing from Rutgers State University. He also actively participates in investment clubs and enjoys fund raising for community events, golfing, cooking and keeping up with current financial markets in both macroeconomics and geo-political changes in the Euro zones and Southeast Asia regions.

Zaw Moe Khine

A leading Advocate who successfully persuaded the Myanmar government to open up the Myanmar pharmaceutical manufacturing industry (which is used to be monopolized by the State Own enterprises) to the private sector in Myanmar in 2013.

Zaw Moe Khine is the Executive Chairman and Owner of Pacific-AA Group, which is currently in Pharmaceuticals, Petrochemical and Automobile (Chevrolet car) businesses.

His company, AA medical Products Ltd is the largest Myanmar owned pharmaceutical distribution company and He is setting up the 1st privately owned pharmaceutical factory in Myanmar.
