Mr. Chuka Mordi
Mr. Chuka Mordi is the MD / CEO of Union Dicon Salt Plc. He was Partner and Co-Founder at CBO Investment Management, which invested in Union Dicon in 2014. 
Union Dicon is acquiring substantial farmland across Nigeria, and has a 5yr strategy to cultivate over 20,000 Ha, & invest in Starch & Ethanol processing across Nigeria.
Mr. Mordi is responsible for oversight of the firm's strategy and investment activities and currently sits on the boards of CBO portfolio companies.
Chuka Mordi was previously Head of Infrastructure Financing at First City Monument Bank Plc, prior to launching CBO, and he has over two decades of experience in Finance & private equity investing.

Mr. Paul Miyonmide Gbededo

Paul Gbededo, a Fellow of the Polymer Institute of Nigeria has been  the Group Managing Director  / Chief Executive Officer of FMN since 1st April, 2013. 

Paul was educated at the Polytechnic of North London UK where he obtained Graduateship of Plastic and Rubber Institute and Associateship of National College of Rubber Technology in 1980, and holds MSc. Degree in Polymer Technology (1981) of Loughborough University of Technology, UK. 

An alumnus of Lagos Business School, Advanced Management Programme 3, Paul also attended an Executive Programme at Harvard Business School in 2013. 

Paul’s over 30 years career with FMN Group started at Nigerian Bag Manufacturing Company Plc (1982 – 1998). There, he acquired extensive experience serving in various managerial positions and rising to General Manager Production and became the first Nigerian Production Director in 1996. 

IN 1998, Paul moved as General Manager/Director in charge of Fertilizer Operations, a Division of FMN, pioneering development of the product, “Golden Fertilizer” the first choice of Nigerian farmers.

He also served as the pioneer General Manager/Director for Golden Pasta Company Limited, now a division of FMN – which has grown to become Africa’s biggest pasta plant. Paul attended Pasta Machinery Use, Maintenance and Operation at FAVA, Italy in 2005.


In July 2012, Paul was elevated to the position of Managing Director, Agro-Allied business with responsibility to implement FMN Group’s backward integration policies, programmes and initiatives. 

Paul, who has a keen focus on results, is fully engaged in mentoring career development of Nigerian Managers as well as expatriates.

Ms. Oluyemisi Iranloye

Oluyemisi Iranloye was born on the 8th of November 1970; she joined the employment of EKHA AGRO Farms Limited in 2002 as Senior Manager Project. She obtained a B. TECH in Biochemistry from Federal University of Technology, Minna in 1997 and M.SC in Biochemistry from The University of Ibadan 2000. Due to her wonderful performance as arrow head in the company’s dream project, she was made the pioneering Executive Director of Ekha agro processing Ltd in 2004. Ekha agro processing ltd was the first company to use cassava to produce glucose syrup in West Africa and the second in Africa. 


She has attended several management training courses in Nigeria and abroad amongst which is the Nigerian SME Equity Investment for International Trade and Development in 2005 at El Camino College, Torrence, California USA. She was a member of the Presidential Committee on Cassava Development and Utilization in Nigeria between 2005 and 2007, and member of the 2006 UNIDO/Ministry of Commerce Committee that wrote the blue print for Cassava development in Nigeria.


Yemisi love for agriculture made her to incorporated Psaltry International Limited in year 2005 to carry on the business of consultancy and commercial farming and after her voluntary early retirement from Ekha agro processing in July 2011, She became the Managing Director of Psaltry International Ltd a cassava based food grade starch/flour factory at Ado Awaye in Oyo state. A company with about 500 out growers farming over 2000ha of farm land with  a back up  company cassava farm of 500ha.


In 2007 she won the award for the best orally presented presentation at the Global cassava partnership conference held at Gent, Belgium organized by FAO, Gate foundation, IITA etc. In July 2010 she was recognized as a leading Female entrepreneur in Nigeria by the United State Department of State and therefore attended the African Women Entrepreneurial Program AWEP in Washington DC, USA. Yemisi is currently the President of AWEP Nigeria Chapter and a member of the prestigious alumni.state.org.

Mr. Rafael Flor
As Director, Mr. Flor oversees the Foundation’s YieldWise Initiative which aims at promoting market-based solutions and innovations to increase efficiency of priority value chains to reduce post-harvest losses by half. 

Mr. Flor has two decades of progressive work experience in international and development institutions, academia, and the private sector. He has worked in sub-Saharan Africa, North America and Latin America. 

Before joining the Rockefeller Foundation, Mr. Flor was a Senior Program Advisor in the Office of the Director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University. Mr. Flor has held positions with Armajaro Trading, the MDG Centre West and Central Africa, the United Nations Development Programme, Columbia University, and Escuela Agricola Panamericana, Zamorano. 

Mr. Flor has served as a member of the World Food Programme’s Working Group on Productive Safety Nets, World Food Programme’s Latin America and the Caribbean Knowledge Sharing Steering Committee to Support Hunger Eradication, Peer Reviewer of the 2006 Environmental Performance Index, and member of the United Nations Millennium Project Task Force on Hunger. Mr. Flor has several academic publications
 
Mr. Flor holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University and an Agricultural Engineer degree from the Escuela Agrícola Panamerica, Zamorano (Honduras).

Mr. Makarand Arvind Joshi

Makarand is a business development professional at Praj Industries - a global leader and supplier of ethanol technology and manufacturing plants. Makarand holds a degree in Petrochemical Engineering and Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Pune, India. With industry experience spanning close to 15 years, Makarand has worked along a wide spectrum of ethanol industry – from proposal engineering & establishing an ethanol plant to sales & business development in regions like India and Africa. He possesses the techno-commercial acumen on the African ethanol industry.

Makarand has represented Praj at various events organized by FO Licht, IBC Informa, All India Distillers Association (AIDA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), to name a few. In addition, he is an avid traveler and sportsperson.
