Philipp joined the KHS group in 2008 as process engineer for aseptic filling machinery.
In 2010 he became part of the Plasmax sales team at KHS Corpoplast and took over the position of the Product Manager for Barrier Coating Technology in 2013.
In this position Philipp has given and is giving decisive direction and is setting the course of the further development of the entire Plasmax coating technology platform.
His passion has been the combination of economic and ecological aspects of barrier PET bottles . Together with the KHS team he is promoting worldwide the
benefits of the fully recyclable barrier technology for a vision of a circular economy in which all PCR PET bottles will be collected, recycled and will be used for new PET bottles.

With over twenty years of experience in sustainability leadership, Lubna is responsible for driving sustainability within the Klöckner Pentaplast/LINPAC Food and Consumer Packaging Division, and collaborating with the value chain, industry associations and other key stakeholders to address global challenges.  Sustainability challenges include carbon mitigation, food waste reduction, resource conservation, use of sustainable materials and recycling, and designing for a closed loop system.  Lubna has held similar roles at the Sealed Air Corporation and Diversey, focussing on how sustainability can meet market needs; ultimately working towards a circular economy.

Edward Kosior has been an innovator and academic in Plastics and Rubber technology for the past 40 years. He is the Managing Director of NEXTEK Ltd that was established in 2004 which provides technical advisory services to brand-owners and recycling companies, designs recycling plants for food-grade plastics and develops novel technologies for the plastics packaging industry.

He holds several patents for recycling processes and is Honorary Professor, at the Wolfson Centre for Material Processing, Brunel University London

PET Chemical Recycling Technology from Japan

Takao holds a BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology and studied Technology Management for Innovation at the University of Tokyo. Before founding JEPLAN, he worked with Osaka University. In 2009, Takao founded JEPLAN with Iwamoto and he has been in charge of the whole operation, including technology development, factory operation, finance, and management. He developed the bio-ethanol production technology from cotton in collaboration with a chemical company. He also led a couple of research & development projects, such as ethanol production from waste gas and also the mobile phone recycling process through pyrolysis. As vice-president, Takao took command of the capital increase project and succeeded in raising $14 million in 2014. He took over the role as CEO in March 2016

Francesco Zanchi

After graduating from Milan University with a doctorate in industrial technology, he built more than 40 years of international business experience in the Textile, Synthetics fiber, and Polyester industries.

Former Managing Director of Enichem Fibre Group in the 80's, and President of Inca International.
He created other companies, via joint ventures with international partners, focusing on the packaging business:
- Emblem Europe, j.v. between Enichem Fibre, Unitika and Marubeni specialized in bioriented nylon film, where he served as President;
- Fapack, a bioriented polyester film company where he served as President and CEO;
- Promochem, President and CEO in this company that specialized in selling equipment and technology for downstream polymer applications.

Member of the Board of Directors at Alcantara, Wellstar B.V., Carpol and R. K. Technologies, as well as vice president for Assofibre, the Italian synthetic fiber producer association.

In 1993, Mr. Zanchi founded the GSI Global Service International, CEO of his own company, whose mission is to better serve the needs of producers and consumers of polyester raw materials, PEF and PET providing guidance, knowledge, and to support a direct link between them. Optimizing this system to its maximum potential, GSI becomes the global Leader in trading PET and other plastic raw materials.

Hans is the Vice-President Public Affairs Europe at Coca-Cola European Partners. Amongst his responsibilities is the company’s packaging and recycling policy. He joined the Coca-Cola system in 1998, serving as the Director of Public Affairs and Communications in The Netherlands for nine years. In this capacity, he was responsible for the company’s transition from refillable to non-refillable/recyclable PET bottles. He also developed a sustainable policy and published the first public societal report within the Coca-Cola system. From 2007 to 2011 Hans was the Director of Public Affairs, Communications and CSR at Starbucks Coffee Company for the Europe, Middle-East and Africa. He then returned to Coca-Cola to his current role, and since March 2017 also serves as the Chairman of the European Organization for Packaging and Environment (EUROPEN). Hans holds a master degree in Business Administration from the Erasmus University Rotterdam/Rotterdam School of Management

Andrés studied Chemistry at the University of Barcelona where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Applied Materials Chemistry. After this period, where he acquired interdisciplinary training, he obtained his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry conducting research in theoretical and computational chemistry, transition metal chemistry and solid state physics. He has experience carrying out research and developing projects of new specialty polymers for a diverse range of consumer and industrial markets.
He joined Novapet as a part of the PET Packaging Technical Centre to be in charge of Light Barrier Applications and related projects.

He has been involved in the renewable energies and biomass sector, first developing industrial projects in Europe and later in charge of business development in South East Asia.

-Frank Embs has been driving product development and commercialization of specialty PET resins for Auriga Polymers Inc. a company of INDORAMA Ventures that was formerly owned by INVISTA since 2004. In his role as Business Development Director he is responsible for developing and executing the global business strategies for the INDORAMA's Barrier and Extrusion Blow Molding resin platforms and markets. He has driven the commercialization and managed the worldwide business growth of PolyShield® resins for beer packaging and initiated, facilitated and executed the development and product launch of OxyClear™ barrier resin for packaging oxygen-sensitive foods such as juice, beer, wine and ketchup and has develop first commercial applications. More recently he is executing the commercialization of PolyClear® EBM PET, a new PET resin from Indorama Ventures for extrusion blow molding that can be recycled with PET. Throughout his career, Frank has directed new product and business and development initiatives including driving commercialization of SilGuard® high-barrier packaging films at Hoechst Celanese from idea stage to initial sales. Frank holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Mainz Germany and MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona.

Jordi Foguet

Jordi has been deeply involved in all the technical, manufacturing and economic fields of the PET industry, since thirty years ago.
His experience includes special PET product development and their end-use applications, recycling and up-stream raw materials technologies, energy efficient systems, cost benchmarking and production process improvements, among others.

Currently, he is the Managing Director of K-PET Consulting, S.L (KPC), a company that he co-founded at the end 2013, together with other PET Industry experts. Jordi's responsibility is to lead KPC into becoming a reference consultancy company which offers support at the technical, energy, commercial, and marketing levels to the PET Industry worldwide.
Before starting his current venture, most of his professional career took place at La Seda de Barcelona, where he was the Technical and Manufacturing Manager for all Artenius PET and Recycling Plants in Europe and Turkey.

Jordi holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master in Business Administration, from Universities in Barcelona, where he resides.
