After his master in Computer engineering, he has started his career in start-up investment in a hope to see the moment when a technology turns to an economical value.
He has spent 5 years in boutique investment firm (Now SBI investments) where he experienced early stage investment, hand-on support, and fund raising for life science and novel material industry. In 2009, he joined Neo-Morgan Laboratory (Now Chitose Laboratory) to engage in developing U.S. and European market. There he has arranged a collaborative project with multiple blue chip company in the industry.

Since 2015, he has been stationed in Singapore to lead the holding company operation where he enthusiastically work on fund raising and strategy development for Chitose's subsidiaries.

Ram is a pediatric gastroenterologist and a nutritionist and a professor of human Nutrition at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dr Reifen graduated The Hadassa Medical School, did his residency in Pediatrics in Jerusalem, and a dual fellowship in Pediatric gastroenterology and Nutrition in Sick Kids Toronto.   Prof Reifen was the head of the School of Nutritional Sciences at the Hebrew University and is currently the director of the research center for nutrigenomics and Functional foods.  Ram published more than 120 peer-reviewed papers and 80 students graduated from his lab. He is a member of international and national committees in nutrition and health related subjects, and is a senior consultant to the food industry and to governmental authorities. Ram's vision is to carry out research that translates to helping alleviate malnutrition and contributes to better nutrition and health of mothers and children. Recently Ram founded a startup Chick.P that focuses on producing an isolate of 90% high quality chickpea protein based on two IP's and a special technology.

Dr Ling Ka Yi is the Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of Shiok Meats Pte. Ltd., Singapore. Ka Yi is a developmental stem cell biologist with over 9 years expertise in tracing and studying stem cells during development. Ka Yi received the prestigious A*STAR’s National Science Scholarship (BS-PhD) and did her Bachelors and PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She had the fortune of working with stem cell and developmental biology giants like James Thomson, Davor Solter and Barbara Knowles. Following graduation, Ka Yi did her postdoc at IMCB, A*STAR. She is an active science communicator since her days in Madison and frequently takes part in Singapore’s science outreach events. She also does a podcast “Science Now” and “Life after PhD” with fellow A*STAR scholar. Ka Yi recently co-founded her first startup Shiok Meats with Dr Sandhya Sriram – the first cell-based meat company in Singapore.

Trang has 13 years of marketing experience in FMCG, automobile and pharmaceutical industries such as Honda Vietnam, Unicharm, Sanofi Aventis. Her current role is managing TH true NUT brand– one of first plant based milk brand in Vietnam market. Established in 2008, TH has made big considerable success with TH true MILK brand-name. Possess more than 60 assorted fresh milk products in its inventory, TH is the biggest supplier of fresh milk in Vietnam and TH dairy farm was recognized as “The biggest hi-tech dairy farm in Asia” by the Asia Book of Record Organization. In 2015, TH Group is the pioneer company apply EU and USDA standard to build up organic milk farm in Vietnam. In 2018, TH has made it first food print in the RNGS market with TH true NUT, which is expected to change consumers’ drinking habit in Vietnam in the coming time.

Prof. Duong has been lecturing at the Agriculture and Forestry University, Ho Chi Minh since 1985. He served as the Dean of Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine and voted as the University’s Vice President, in charge of Scientific Research, International Relationship Affairs and Quality Assessment in Education.

Major teaching and studying in animal nutrition, feed production technology and feed quality control, specified to non-ruminant animals, including feed formulation for swine, poultry and fish and shrimp.

Besides working at the University, he has advised several feedmills and feed additives suppliers in feed formulation and evaluation of feed ingredients for livestock and aquaculture. He is among the pioneer in Vietnam doing research in the field of insects nutrition.

Continued in a Ph.D. scholarship and received the PhD. Degree in Biochemistry and Natural Product Chemistry studying the interaction of dietary fibre associated compounds in the plant cell wall. Have furthermore from a certificate in Business Administration at University of Southern Denmark.
Got a position as Research Scientist / Protein Chemist at the Danish enzyme producing company Novozymes developing enzyme applications for the food and beverage industry.
Started in 2005 at University of Copenhagen as Assistant Professor (2005-2008) and Associate Professor (2018-2018). Have during this employment been teaching courses such as Biochemistry, Natural Product Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, Food Process Equipment, Enzymology and Experimental Biochemistry and Food Enzyme Applications. Research has been focused around food process development and process up-scaling, transferring process knowledge from academia to industry.
Is currently co-founder and CEO of Bioptimate and  also working at the Danish process equipment manufacture SiccaDania A/S as Senior Process Developer and Sales Manager within the starch business area.
Is the inventor of 5 patents and have +50 scientific contributions

Mr. Henk Jaap Meijer is director and owner of Meijer Consult. He graduated in 1988 from State University Groningen in the Netherlands with a degree in Polymer Chemistry. During his career he has received several marketing programs.

Mr. Meijer has worked at AVEBE, the global market leader in potato starches, during 13 years on development of modified starches and potato based side stream products for food and technical applications. At BASF Plant Science he was involved in the development of applications for AMFLORA® amylopectin and high-amylose starches from genetically modified potatoes. From 2007 till 2014 Mr. Meijer worked as Director Marketing & Innovation at Emsland Group where he was responsible for amongst others product development and market introduction of the Empure® range clean label starches and dehydrated potatoes.

Meijer Consult develops innovations for the cassava, potato and starch modification and - processing industry. Clients are located in Europe, South East Asia, South America and Africa. With focus on starch modifications, food-fibre and protein production they support clients with their product development, application research and market introductions.

Mr. Meijer founded the LinkedIn CASSAVA group with more than 1.300 members worldwide. Daily cassava news and background information are a resource for the global cassava industry.
