Dr Zdenek Toman graduated in chemistry in the Charles University, Prague (1986), where he also obtained his postgraduate degree of the Doctor of Natural Science (RNDr) and worked for two years as a scientist. From 1990 he was employed as a chemist in the R&D Department in AECI , South Africa. He entered the cosmetic field in 1995, when, after initial training in Paris, for the next ten years he worked as a chief chemist of L’Oreal, South Africa (ElaBelle and Carson). Afterward he shortly worked as the R&D manager of AMKA .
In 2006 he founded his own company, AMB Cosmetics, cc, focusing on African Ethnic hair R&D and technological consultancy. Activity: 23 years experience in cosmetic industries within but also behind borders of South Africa including Nigeria, DRC, Malawi, Ivory Coast and Angola.
