Dr. Masaru Takagi
Masaru Takagi received a doctorate of science from Nagoya University. His major is plant molecular biology, especially gene regulation in plants. He developed novel technology for functional analysis of gene that enable to manipulate plants traits. He has been working at the National Institute of Advance Industrial Science and technology (AIST), Tsukuba Japan for 25 years and last year he moved to Saitama University as professor and director of Institute for Environmental Science and Technology in Saitama University.
