PROFILE

Dr Paul Iji

Dr Paul A. Iji is an Associate Professor of Poultry Science at the University of New England (UNE), Armidale, Australia.  Dr Iji studied in Nigeria, Scotland and Australia, and prior to his appointment at UNE, worked in similar positions in Nigeria and South Africa.  His main area of research is poultry nutrition, with specialization in gastrointestinal physiology.  Most of his recent research has been on the use of alternative feed ingredients for poultry.  He is the author of Writing and Publishing Your Research and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals as well as made presentations to international and local conferences.  He is an Associate Editor of six scientific journals, and also reviews articles for many other animal science journals.
