Sunny Punj is passionate about creating forward-thinking, pragmatic business models that harmonize the decarbonization goals of company and client, resulting in deep, mutually beneficial relationships and agreements. Most recently, Mr. Punj was the Chief Operating Officer and Principal at CGI Group of Companies where he orchestrated the organization's evolution from a traditional industrial gas producer to a pioneer in decarbonization technologies through waste-to-energy facilities, low-carbon hydrogen production, and CO2 capture technologies. Before his time at CGI Group of Companies, Mr. Punj completed a five-year accelerated Dual-Degree Program at Cornell University and Harvard Business School, earning a B.S. in Financial Engineering with Honors and an M.B.A. He went on to hold leadership positions at Cognizant Technologies, Schlumberger, and McKinsey & Company. He was a Graduate Lecturer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and often speaks at industry events.
