Kah Chin Teo is a bioenergy professional with over 10 years’ experience in biogas, biomethane, and circular resource infrastructure across Southeast Asia.

Most recently, Kah Chin was a Portfolio Manager for Biogas at TotalEnergies in Singapore, where he oversaw strategic deployment and commercialisation of bio-LNG and bio-methane initiatives in the region, with prior experience leading origination and market road-mapping for marine and industrial biofuels.

Previously, at Sobono Energy, he held senior roles spanning investor engagement, business development, and as a project engineer. He led the structuring of an 80 GWh/year vPPA for a biomass project and developed SPVs targeting over $80M in combined funding. His scope ranged from regulatory and financial stakeholder engagement in Singapore to cross-border deployment planning in Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Kah Chin has managed end-to-end infrastructure projects, including EPC oversight, BOOT contracting, risk evaluation, and multi-sectoral stakeholder coordination, with a focus on waste-to-resource technologies. He brings a track record in project bankability, JV structuring, and public-private coordination across ASEAN.
