Rebecca is currently CEO at Komercon and Mission Director Integrated Biorefineries - and in both roles, biomass and bio-based solutions for fuels including industrial decarbonisation, marine and SAF are high priority.  Komercon is building international, sustainable supply chains for the economy of tomorrow. Komercon connects biomass, waste-derived and alternative materials to new applications in energy, materials and chemicals; practically, transparently and always with respect for regulations and environmental impact.  Integrated Biorefineries is one of the 7 focus areas within Mission Innovation - a global initiative catalysing a decade of action and investment in research, development and demonstration to make clean energy affordable, attractive and accessible for all. Leveraging available feedstocks for integrated biorefineries is an essential part of any clean energy economy.
