Clariant has announced that it has inaugurated two new, fully-owned additives facilities at its site in Zhenjiang, China.
Located in the Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, the two facilities will produce Ceridust micronized waxes and AddWorks synergistic additive solutions, both of which are used in coatings as well as in plastics and ink industries.
The new facilities are part of Clariant’s multi-million CHF investment that was announced in 2017.
Clariant is expanding its additives business in China and these tailored solutions are expected to meet the demand for environmentally compatible and safe products in China as per the country’s 13th Five Year Plan and the industrial policy 'Made in China 2025'.
The two additive facilities compliments Clariant’s regional network of commercial and technical support not only for China, but for entire Asia.
