WHY THIS EVENT
Across Southeast Asia, vast volumes of agricultural residues—from palm oil waste to rice husk and sugar by-products—have long been treated as low-value or disposal challenges. Today, that is rapidly changing. As global demand intensifies for low-carbon fuels, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and carbon removal solutions, these same waste streams are emerging as critical feedstocks in the transition towards a bio-based economy.
Indonesia and the wider region now sit at the centre of this shift, with strong policy momentum around B50 biodiesel, SAF development, and carbon markets. Yet unlocking this potential is far from straightforward. The industry continues to grapple with fragmented feedstock supply, evolving technologies, and the challenge of making projects commercially viable at scale.
AgriWaste to Value (Biofuels, SAF, Biochar & CDR) brings together key players across the value chain—from plantation groups and feedstock suppliers to offtakers, developers, and technology providers—to explore how agricultural waste can be transformed into fuels, carbon products, and sustainable materials, and more importantly, how to do so profitably and at scale.
Through a focused 1.5-day programme, participants will gain practical insights into:
WHAT WILL BE DISCUSSED
The programme covers the full spectrum of waste-to-value pathways, including:
WHO YOU WILL MEET
The event brings together stakeholders across the entire value chain:

WHY INDONESIA & SOUTHEAST ASIA
As the world’s largest palm oil producing region, Southeast Asia holds one of the largest untapped sources of agricultural residues globally. Combined with strong policy support for biofuels, SAF and carbon markets, the region is uniquely positioned to scale next-generation bioeconomy projects.
This makes it a critical hub for companies looking to secure feedstock, develop projects, and access new markets.
