The Kanda Biomass Power Plant in Kanda Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, and is one of the largest power plants in Japan that uses 100% bio-derived woody biomass as fuel. https://www.kb-energy.jp/

   

Output scale : About 75MW (annual power transmission of 500 GWh/year (approx..  170,000 households)
Main biomass fuels utilised in this plant : Wood Pellets, PKS and Wood Chips
Shareholders : RENOVA Inc., Sumitomo Forestry Co.Ltd., Kyuden Mirai Energy Co.Ltd., Mihara Group Co.Ltd.
