Industrial Biotech will account for 10% of sales within the chemical industry by 2010, up from 7% in 2005 - according to a report by McKinsey. Most of that comes from biofuels. In Oct , Novamont Italia announced plans to build a refinery to raise output of it Master-Bi bioplastics while some existing refineries like Neste are integrating their refinery operations with biodiesel production.
