Mr. John Bingham
 John Bingham is an agricultural economist with over twenty-five years' experience as an analyst and consultant in the natural resource industries, initially in agricultural markets and subsequently in metals, chemicals, pulp and paper and most recently in bioenergy markets. He joined Hawkins Wright in 1994. He has been responsible for developing the firm's bioenergy practice and remains the principal author of the Forest Energy Monitor report and of many private- and multi-client studies. He has undertaken consultancy assignments for individual clients in more than thirty countries.

Mr. Peter Wilson

 Peter Wilson is a Chartered Forester and Chartered Environmentalist. He graduated in forestry from the University of Wales, Bangor in 1982 and took his Master's degree at the University of Oxford. His early career was spent supporting commercial reforestation projects in Jamaica and the Solomon Islands as part of the UK Government's international development programme. Peter returned to the UK to pursue his interest in public policy, first with the Timber Growers Association, where he was promoted to chief executive, and then as executive director at the Forest Industries Development Council. In all, he was a prominent advocate of the British forestry sector's policy interests for 16 years and played a prominent role in repositioning the UK forest industries sector, for long a source of environmental controversy, as an international exemplar of good practice.

In 2004, Peter established the Wilson Applied Consultancy to offer an individual and bespoke consultancy service. His projects include being executive chair of the UK Woodland Assurance Standard partnership and specialist consultancy assignments especially in the field of sustainable forest management certification and forest-carbon sequestration standards. Peter was appointed executive director of the Sustainable Biomass Partnership (SBP) in August 2013, to facilitate the development of sustainable woody biomass standards for major European utilities that are using biomass, mostly in the form of wood pellets in large thermal power plants.

Mr. Vaughan Bassett
 Vaughan Joined Pinnacle in May 2011 and is responsible for the pellet marketing, sales, logistics and trading activities of the company. He has an extensive international career in the forest products industry, having spent almost 20 years with Sappi, a global pulp and paper company. As the executive in charge of their world-wide pulp sales, he was stationed in Hong Kong for 10 years before moving to Canada in 2007. He has also taught export management and international logistics at Humber Business School in Toronto as well as starting up his own green business in BC. Vaughan has a BSc from the University of Natal and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand, both located in South Africa.

Mr. Fabien Mehu
 Fabien Méhu runs the biomass trading department within GDF Suez. He has worked in commodity markets for 13 years, having held various positions within the GDF Suez group. Fabien first worked in Paris for five years in the gas and LNG business before taking a power assets management and renewable certificate origination position in the UK. Fabien joined the Brussels-based coal, freight and biomass division in 2012, and became Head of Biomass Trading in 2014. He holds a postgraduate degree in mathematics, economy and finance from the University of Sciences and Economy of Paris.

Mr. Jason Woods

Jason Woods is the head of Biomass at Vattenfall Energy Trading Netherlands. He has been working for Vattenfall since January 2013, helping to create, implement and manage their Biomass Trading desk, Risk Management and Future Biomass Strategy whilst continuing to manage their Procurement and Sustainability teams.

Jason moved to Vattenfall from Drax Power Ltd where he had spent more than three years as Bio Energy Manager, managing Procurement, Origination, Sustainability and Risk Management. Before this he spent more than three years working for INEOS Chemicals developing their Biofuels businesses, both first and second generation, and managing their Chemical Feedstock Procurement and Trading activities. He moved to INEOS during the acquisition from BP Petrochemicals in 2006. During his 7 years with BP Jason held many management roles covering all areas from Sales, Project Management through to Capability development and Director of Marketing for the European Petrochemical business.

Mr. Michael Schytz
 Michael has extensive experience with the field of Biomass. The last 7 years he has worked with strategic and operational procurement of biomass in first DONG Energy and now HOFOR. He has also worked with Biomass sustainability and been heavily involved in the SBP. Today he heads up the Fuel Procurement and Logistic department in HOFOR, currently working on building a new woodchip fires boiler in Copenhagen burning approx. 1,2 mill. tonnes a year from 2020.

Mr. Paolo Moscone

Paolo is the biomass manager of ENVIRO srl (Saif Group), an Italian trading house active in wood chips, pks and residential wood pellet.

He joined Enviro since the beginning in 2005. He is in charge of analyzing and developing new biomass supply chains and of the sales. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Genova.

Mr. Harold Arnold
 Harold has been involved in the forest industry his entire working life. He spent more than 25 years in the Forest Resources Division of Hercules Inc. and held the position of Western Region Superintendent prior to his leaving Hercules in 1995. Since then, he has exported chips and other forest products through port facilities at Savannah, handled a variety of consulting projects for forest products industries in the South, and completed several international forestry related assignments as a consultant for the United States Agency for International Development. Harold joined Fram Renewable Fuels, LLC in October 2005. His industry knowledge led to the development of Fram's first wood pellet facility in Baxley, Georgia. Appling County Pellets was constructed and began producing in late 2007. Since then he has played a pivotal role in the development of the business and customer relationships that are so vitally necessary in this business. As the industry continues to grow Harold enhances the profile of Fram to further develop the wood pellet industry in the Southeast United States.

Mr. Michael J Williams
 Mike has over 30 years of experience in the forest products sector focusing on pulp, paper, packaging, and renewable energy. He is in the Business Development group for the Westervelt Company, the parent of Westervelt Renewable Energy, and was responsible for development of the company's Aliceville pellet plant as well as the company's biomass cogeneration (CHP) project. He also led the SBP Framework certification effort for Westervelt. Mike serves on the board of directors of the U.S. Industrial Pellet Association, the executive board of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Development Association, and is on the Board of Visitors for the College of Community Health Sciences at the University of Alabama. Mike holds a BS degree from Morehead State University, completed Duke University's Advanced Management Program, is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and holds a Certificate in Process Mastery.

 Pia Brinkmann Madsen joined DONG Energy in 2015 as Head of Fuel & Logistics in the Thermal Power business. Throughout her career, she has held various leadership positions and has worked extensively with risk- and supply chain management in the food and agricultural industry.

Mr. Juan Prados Edwards

 Juan is Managing Director of the Spanish firm GENERANDI that is involved in the forestry value chain, from plantations to product trading in Spain and Portugal.

Generandi is active in the woodchip business working as exclusive agents of Sumitomo Corporation in Europe. Annual sales are over 0.5 mill GMT/yr into the pulp, MDF and biomass markets.

In addition to the forest based business Generandi has two subsidiaries active in wine and natural herb production.

Juan holds a Master Degree in Forest Engineering by the Madrid Polytechnic University, MBA by ESADE Business School, Master Degree in Enology and Viticulture by the International Social Science Council and financed research stay at the Department of Forestry of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA.

He shares this professional activity with his position as Silviculture and Reforestation Ad Honorem Professor at the Forestry School of the Madrid Polytechnic University.

Before launching GENERANDI Juan has held different positions in Forestry based companies like ENCE and EF.

Since the year 1998 active in associative matters holding positions as Vice-president of the European Confederation of Wood-working Industries (CEI-Bois), Member of the Board of the Spanish Confederation of Woodworking Industries (CONFEMADERA), Chairman of the wood promotion project "Living with wood" and Member of the Board of PEFC-Spain (forest sustainability certification scheme).
