Mr. Seth Leong

 Seth has over 10 years international experience in cost management at all stages of
construction, from inception to completion. He has both led and supported teams
working on projects ranging from commercial fit outs and refurbishment to new build
iconic buildings and development master-plans. Seth is based in Bangkok, Thailand with a
background of the Middle East and United Kingdom.


His project portfolio involvement spans over USD $5 billion across many countries
including Thailand, Myanmar, United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi and Dubai), Saudi Arabia
and the United Kingdom. Seth implements a dynamic and proactive approach to his work
and is keen on working closely with his clients and project team.

Seth is a member of the RICS Asia QS & Construction Professional Group Board, RICS
Thailand Board and Assessor Committee. He is also an active RICS Assessor and APC

-U Than Myint attained his B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) degree from Yangon Institute of Technology in 1963 and Master of Applied Science (Civil Engineering) degree from University of Waterloo, Canada in 1974.U Than Myint is retired Deputy Chief Engineer of Myanmar Railways and Past President of Myanmar Engineering Society. He is serving as Chairman of Committee for Quality Control of High-rise Building Projects (CQHP) and also Chairman of Myanmar Board of Engineers (MBE). The Myanmar National Building Code (MNBC) Development Project is led by U Than Myint and the Provisional MNBC is excepted to come out at the end of 2012.

U. Thet Zaw Win
U Thet Zaw Win graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from Yangon Technological University in 2002.  Since then, he joined the government services at Public Works under the Ministry of Construction.  During his career, he was assigned in many projects across Myanmar.  He also received Master of Engineering in Transportation Engineering in 2011.  Now he is Executive Engineer in the road division of Public Works.  His work involves the cooperation with international organizations and road linkages.

Ms. Cheah Swee Gim
Cheah Swee Gim, Director of Kelvin Chia Yangon and head of corporate and commercial department of Kelvin Chia Partnership, has more than 25 years of corporate legal practice in South East Asia. Her substantial portfolio of professional work includes mergers and acquisitions, de-mergers, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, private equity funds, equity and capital planning, debt restructuring, financing and banking transactions, and a myriad of commercial contracts and corporate issues. Her experience in commercial transactions includes complex agreements where intellectual property rights and information technology played critical roles. In Myanmar, she has extensive experience in advising investment in the oil and gas, mining, agricultural and construction sectors. She received her law degree from National University of Singapore and an LL.M. in intellectual property studies from New York University.

 Ang Yen Kooi joined Langdon & Seah Malaysia as a Quantity Surveyor in 1988 and became
Director of Langdon & Seah (Thailand) [Formerly Davis Langdon & Seah (Thailand) Ltd.] in
2005 and subsequently promoted to Regional Director in 2011. He has been involved in

Mr. Htun Aung Kyaw

 Htun earned his prime years of international experience working as a resident technical officer and site engineer with world renowned construction companies in Singapore for four consecutive years. His areas of expertise include site surveys, design drawings, and coordination and management of structural and architectural subcontractors. Before he ventured to Singapore, Htun had gained eight solid years of experience as a civil engineer in Yangon and Mandalay, working with a metal industry company and a big construction group.

Htun was one among the first to introduce steel structure technology in Myanmar in the late 90s, designing and supervising construction of steel structure factories and housing projects. Htun holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E, Civil) from Mandalay Technological University, a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech, Civil) majoring in Civil Engineering from Government Technological College in Mandalay, and an A.G.T.I Diploma awarded from the Government Technical Institute, Mandalay, Myanmar.

Htun is the head of the Project Department for Green Vision Property Developments.

Mr. Christopher Thurane Aung
 (Christopher) Thurane Aung joined Dagon Group of Companies in 2002. Dagon Group of Companies is one of the leading local conglomerates in emerging Myanmar with its diversified business that includes property development and construction, hospitality, timber, agriculture, commodity trading, plantation, retail and distribution, petroleum, automobile and food processing. Christopher is responsible for business strategies and expansion plans for all of Dagon Group's business with a focus on identifying new real estate and construction projects. Currently appointed as Vice President for Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Limited which is the developer of Thilawa SEZ. Mr. Nyan Min Htut (Zarni)

 Zarni holds a BA Honors in Business Economics from the University of East Anglia, UK. After his undergraduate studies, he spent six months as a research intern studying economic development of Myanmar at the Chulalornkong University in Bangkok. When he returned to Myanmar, he started his career as a communication officer with Save the Children (UK) in Myanmar. In 2008 in the aftermath of Cyclone Nargis, he was assigned as a team leader in the West region of Ayeyarwaddy Delta, one of the worst affected areas. There he managed a team of more than 200 professional and field staff, and a multi-million dollar budget for over two years. Within these two years, his team, together with the affected community, built over 500 houses, 100 schools, several health centres, and provided livelihood support to a hundred thousands of affected families to rebuild their lives. Zarni played an instrumental role in raising funds to finance the project. He was later promoted and became a Regional Programme Manager for Yangon and Eastern Region and Emergency Response Manager for Rakhine Region. He left Save the Children in 2011 to pursue his business career.

Zarni found Green Vision Property Development and Construction Management Company in 2011. Within two years in business, Green Vision has rapidly risen to become a well-reputed real estate developer working with multinational companies, investors and land owners.
Zarni oversees Green Vision Group of Companies, Yangon Property Management Company (a joint-venture company with a Singapore based company) and other services companies (My Yangon Office, TaingYinThar Restaurant).

Mr. Jean-Jacques Largent

-A leader with broad based knowledge of challenging design and build projects delivery and complex project management in Asia, Mr. Largent brings more than two decades of experience in multi cultural project teams management to BYMA, a joint venture between Dragages Singapore, a member of Bouygues Construction Group and SPA-PM, a member of Yoma Strategic Holdings. Established in February 2013 and based in Singapore with a wholly owned subsidiary in the Union of Myanmar, BYMA is undertaking the design and construction of Thanlyin Star City Zone B, a residential project comprising 1043 units distributed in 5 buildings.

 

Graduated with a Master Degree in Science and an MBA from French leading schools, Jean-Jacques spent most of his career in Asia and oversaw the delivery of some of Bouygues Construction Group leading reference project in the region.

Mr. Thaung Htut Aung

 Thaung Htut Aung is currently Project Coordinator of Structural Engineering Unit in AIT Consulting, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. He has eight years of experience in structural analysis and design of tall buildings and seismic evaluation of existing buildings.

 

Since 2005, he worked as Structural Engineer in Dynamic Engineering Consultants, Co. Ltd., Thailand for two years. In 2007, he joined Asian Center for Engineering Computations and Software (ACECOMS) in AIT as Research Associate. He involved in research and consultancy projects in the areas of structural analysis and design of buildings and special structures, structural design peer review, investigation of structural failures and damage assessment, and verification and technical support of structural analysis and design software packages which include ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and CSICOL. In 2010, he became the Project Coordinator in AIT Consulting, managing several structural engineering projects from Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei, Sri Lanka and Nepal.


His area of specialization includes finite element modeling and analysis, performance based design of tall buildings and seismic evaluation of existing buildings.

U. Toe Hlaing

 Mr. Toe Hlaing graduated from Rangoon Art and Science University. He specialized in geotechnical engineering and material engineering. He worked as project engineer in OCK Construction in Saipan, USA from 1989 to 1991. Later he worked as manager in AL Technologies Co. Ltd., Singapore from 1991 to 1997. During his service in AL Technologies, he was seconded to Chiyoda Corporation and he jointly took responsibility of quality manager for $1.2 billion and $800 million refinery construction projects in Singapore. He did many consultancy works in South East Asian countries for geotechnical engineering and material engineering.

 

In 1993 he received a special grant from National Science and Technology Board of Singapore (NSTB) to develop new techniques of Microware application in construction industry. Then he was sent to USA as scholar by NSTB.  He developed many Non destructive testing techniques by using microwave technology. He was recognized as the first scientist from South East Asian who develops the microwave technology in construction industry. He wrote many publications and presented in international technical conferences. He gave lectures in Singapore University, Singapore Polytechnics and University of Malaya.

 

In 1997 he returned to Myanmar and started his own business. He started a brick factory in 1997 and it was failed unfortunately. He established a construction chemical factory in 1999 and the chemical products are well known as local products in Myanmar, today. In 2004 he cofounded Ma Ga Manufacturing Co. Ltd. and works as technical director.

When he returned to Myanmar, he was appointed as honorable lecturer in Yangon Technical University and Yangon University. In 2003, he was promoted as part time professor and he takes responsibility on post-graduate students in Yangon University. He worked as part-time technical advisor to Ministry or Railway, Yangon City Development Committee, military engineering core, ministry of construction and irrigation department. Recently he was selected as committee member of National High Dam Committee of Myanmar.

U Myint Oo is currently Deputy CEO of Yatanarpon Teleport, a joint venture of stateowned and now moving to be corporatized MPT, and private sector investers. YTP itself is very recently reformed into a Public Company Limited, and to be awarded the operator license in the very near future.

U Myint Oo has a reputable profile of his academic in Engineering career, He comes out as a brilliant professional from the Class of 1977, of his Alma Mater, namely RIT-Rangoon Institute of Technology, which is still famous for its Former Glory being a Pride of Myanmar. Principally his specialization was rooted in Electrical Power, but in compliance with his developed technological knowledge and keen interest and also with eras' changes he has nowadays become communications-electronic engineer by himself via studies and practices in Telecoms and ICT field especially in Access Technology.

He is active, enthusiastic and energetic engineer. He has the long devotion to his engineering subject and profession and he worked as Deputy Chief Engineer of IT at MPT, as Officer-in-charge of former Myanmar Teleport. He has accumulated many years of field experience, also with on-site, base and headquarters experience. Originally he came out from simple country folk parents, and he is always proud of his native Salin, Magwe Region in the middle land of Myanmar. He attained his further studies in 80s, in the States, in Texas and Mississippi.

Mr. Vincent Jalabert
 Vincent holds a Master Degree in Sustainable Development & Urban Planning. After graduating in 1997 in France, he started his career as a french Government worker in the position of sustainable development programme manager before joining international NGOs in 2000. Since then, Vincent has been working in 5 countries and has managed complex multimillion development projects for various organisations. In 2008, following cyclone Nargis, Vincent joined Save the Children in Myanmar as a Regional Programme Manager to participate in the relief efforts; he managed 12 offices, up to 500 staff and a multimillion dollar portfolio of projects, transferring strong project management and leadership skills to his staff. Vincent joined Green Vision in January 2014 as the Business Director to support the development of the Company.

 U Ba Myint graduated with B.E. (electronics) in 1983 and joined the Myanma Railways in 1984 as Assistant Engineer(S&T). He was promoted to Divisional Engineer(S&T), followed by Assistant General Manager(S&T), Deputy General Manager(S&T) and Senior General Manager(Inspection). He participated in several overseas training programs, including Railway Signal Engineering in Japan and advanced Railway Signaling and Telecommunication Engineering in Belgium.

He has over 29 Years experience in installation and project management on Signaling and Telecommunication equipment including optical fiber laying around railway line.

He is currently Senior General Manager/Deputy Managing Director (Inspection) and also appointed as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Ministry of Rail Transportation. Currently he is taking another special duty as Project Director (OFC Project) and Way side non railway business development for sustainable development of Myanma Railways.

Mr. Kyaw Kaung Cho

Kyaw Kaung Cho is Executive Engineer (Civil) at Bridge Design Department, Public Works, Ministry of Construction, currently specialising in bridge planning and designing. He graduated with Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1998 and joined Public Works as a sub-assistant engineer. He received his Master of Civil Engineer M.Sc (Civil) from Bauhaus University, Weimar,Germany in 2012 and was a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship holder from 2010-2012.

Todate in Public Works, he has instrumented the construction of many buildings and roads. Most of his projects are government project, and involves the cooperation with international organizations. He is also involved in the designing of new bridges, bridge planning with international organizations for either grant aids or loan.
