Past year's Silicone Conference attracted participants from diverse sectors within silicone industry

In anticipation of the 4th Global Silicone Biz Outlook meet on 27 &28 September 2010 in Shanghai, CMT is pleased to share a snapshot of the profile of participants that had attended and gained from our Global Silicone conference in 2009.

 

The attendee’s breakdown is as follow:

48% are International & local (Chinese) Silicone manufacturers, like BlueStar Silicone, Huajin Group, Sanjia Chemical Materials, Shin-Etsu Silicone International etc.

 

21% are end-users or companies that use silicone in their production. They are from various industries such as chemical, construction and beauty products. Examples include Aberdare Cables Asia, Loreal, Pacific Lubricant etc.

 

18% are downstream Silicone chemical manufacturers such as Guangzhou Baiyun Chemical Industry, Hangzhou Zhijiang Silicone Chemicals etc.

 

10% aresilicone traders from both China and international companies. Among them, Elkem International Trade & Tech-Link Silicones

 

Remaining 3% are from Research & Development, Additives and Compounders firms such as NCM Hersbit Chemical Co; WD Silicone etc.
