11th Middle East & Africa PET summit in Casablanca will explore upcoming opportunities in emerging African markets.

Increasing capacity investments in the Middle East & strong demand in Africa are bridging the 2 regions as mutual trade partners, creating an abundance of business prospects for the PET industry. The 11th Middle East and Africa PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) conference will convene in Casablanca, Morocco on 1-2 March 2010, to explore this growing link between the Middle East and emerging markets in Africa.

 

Worldwide PET capacity has been forecasted to grow 4.3% from 2009 -2013, and the Middle East has the largest regional growth forecast at (9.3%). Emerging market Africa is also projected to grow by approximately 6% from 2009-2013.  

 

The 11th Middle East & Africa PET conference will provide an essential update on Middle East PET production post-downturn, and how the emerging markets in Africa bolster the growth of the Middle East PET sector. The invited panel at the conference will provide in-depth coverage on:
