Dr. Theo de Jager
Dr. Theo de Jager is the Deputy President of AgriSA since 2008 & he served as President of Agri Limporo from 2007-200 & a Executive member of Agri Letaba from 2003-2007. He was the Chairman of the Trichardtsdal farmer association from 2000-2007 & has farmed in the Tzaneen district since 1997.
Dr. Theo de Jager obtained his BA Political Science from Stellenbosch in 1984, BA (Hons) Philosophy & MA Philosophy in Pretoria (Cum Laude) in 1985 & 1986 respectivly. He completed his D Phil Philosophy in Pretoria in 1988 on "Black Consciousness".
He is the co-owner of a real estate agency, compost plant and local newspaper in Tzaneen and Hoedspruit. He begins his career with the South African Air Force in 1981 for a year and his career path includes joining the National intelligence Service from 1984-2001, Chief information co-ordinator in the office of the State President from 1987-1989, Negotiation Consultant for Gencor, Nuclear Energy Corporation from 1991-1997.
