Mr. Patric McGonigal
Patric is a senior member of BLG’s Marine Energy and Trade Practice and having been with BLG in London since 2000, Patric relocated to the firm’s Singapore office in February 2009 to head its Marine, Energy and Trade team in the Asia-Pacific region. He is also a member of BLG’s Commercial Arbitration team. Patric has extensive experience in a broad range of commercial, international trade, trade finance, marine/energy insurance, shipping disputes and casualty work. His experience ranges from contracts of sale, documentary credit, collateral management and insurance issues (predominantly coverage issues) to charterparty and bills of ladings disputes. Patric’s practice covers both soft and hard commodity issues, advising on commercial issues and drafting documentation, as well as dealing with disputes in arbitration
