Closing the loop on PET trays

• Benefits of the vertical integration of the IMG Group: integrated PET recycler, PET film producer for the food packaging industry, and PET specialty resin producer with chemical recycling capacity
• Decontaminator with Efsa approval for up to 90% recycled PET in our food contact films
• Retray Certification that guarantees compliance and participation of all stakeholders in promoting a circular economy and circularity of PET trays
• Promoting a Tray to Tray circuit
  - Internal innovation projects at Evertis Recycling for recycling of PET trays
  - Contributing to projects with national entities to assess the feasibility of sorting PET trays which were being sorted as mixed plastics, and upcycling them back into the PET stream

• Importance of participation in industry associations (APIP, ASWP, PETCORE, CPA, NAPCOR) and national Plastics Pacts (PPP & UPP) and contributing with our know-how through workstreams working towards the European and US targets
